One prize package will be awarded to the three winning entrants. Entries will be judged by a single judge, who will be a notable and accomplished quilter selected by the MQG Planning Committee (the “Judge”).
The identity of each entrant will remain anonymous until the challenge has been judged.

To determine the winners the judge will award a score from 0 (poor) to 100 (perfect) for each entry and award scores for each of the following criteria:
• 35% Originality (How creative and unique is the quilt?)

In the event of a tie in the total scores the entry with the higher score for Originality will be declared the winner.

At the Judge’s discretion, entries will be narrowed down to 25 by a judging panel made up of three Modern Quilt Guild planning committee members (“Judging Panel”). This Judging Panel will use the same criteria specified above.
