One of the great things that we heard over and over was how diverse the classes were at SewDown Nashville. From improv to paper piecing there was something for everyone. Check out the great projects that attendees worked on over the weekend.
Aerial with Carolyn Friedlander
Students learned how to paper piece using a strip-friendly, graphic project by designer Carolyn Friedlander. Tons of blocks where finished in this class and many more are being finished right now at home!
Mod Corsage with Anna Maria Horner
Using the traditional Broderie Perse style quilt as inspiration, Anna Maria lead students through building their own modern bouquet! This class was lively and serious all at the same time, people really took time to layout and plan their Mod Cordage.
Little Changes, Big Variety with Angela Walters
This fast-paced class tackled swirls, pebbles, squares, clamshells and more! People left with excitement for free motion quilting and grand plans for finally finishing all those quilts at home.
thank you for sending this!!!!! I am going to QuiltCon in February, and hope to take some exciting classes like this.
Question-are the sewing machines provided for the classes? If they are provided, what kind of machines are they, and are they typically for sale, after the completion of QuiltCon?
Thank you, Valerie Larson

Hi Valerie,
Yes there will be machines for classes! Stay tuned for more announcements about the machine sponsors. Typically the manufacture will sell the classroom machines at a discounted price.
Seeing these photos really makes me think about attending QuiltCon! SewDown was just what I needed! Now I need another adventure!
The classes were amazing! Thanks again for such a great weekend!
